FAQ & POLICY

Do I need to book an appointment?

At 19:28 Tattoo Walk Ins are always welcome. We always got time for small(ish) and simple Designs. If you are planning on getting a large scale Tattoo or a detailed custom design we advise you to contact us beforehand via our Booking Form which you can find here.

How much will my Tattoo cost?

Until your chosen Artist or one of our Staff members has spoken to you about your design idea it isn't possible for us to give you a price. Our starting price however is 70€. Please feel free to conact us anytime or to visit us at the shop for a free consultation and we will be able to give you an estimated price.

Do you cover up old Tattoos?

Yes, some artists working at 19:28 Tattoo do cover-ups. Please, come in and talk to them about your options, as each cover-up presents it's own challenges. They will work with you to find a design that’s best for you but also functions effectively as a cover-up.

Can I get a Tattoo when I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

Artists working at 19:28 Tattoo can NOT tattoo anybody currently pregnant or breastfeeding.

Do I need to book a consultation?

You can pop into the studio at any time for an informal chat with an available artist, however we recommend booking a consultation with your chosen artist. A consultation is free; artists only require a deposit once your tattoo is booked and before they begin drawing your design.

Does getting a Tattoo hurt?

Everyone’s pain threshold is different, some people find it uncomfortable, others are remarkably zen throughout the whole experience. Most people say it isn’t as bad as they imagine.

Will you send me my design before the appointment?

Your artist will show you the design they’ve made for you, in person once you’re at the studio, at which point any changes can be made. Your artist will have made the design for you, based on your instruction and the details you’ve discussed with them.

Can my friend come with me to my appointment?

Feel free to bring along one person for moral support; however in case the studio is busy they must remain in the waiting area whilst you are getting tattooed for the privacy and comfort of other guests and artists.

What clothing should I wear when I am getting tattooed?

Wear something you feel comfortable in that also allows easy access to the area you are about to get tattooed. Tight fitting garments are not a good idea. And remember that you may get ink or blood onto your clothes when travelling home after the tattoo.

Do you requier a Deposit?

The artists working at 19:28 require a 50-100€ deposit for all bookings, which is redeemable against the total final cost of your tattoo. We request this on the Artists behalf, at the time of booking. Your deposit guarantees the date and time of your appointment with your artist. They will not advertise this time to anyone else, and as a result, deposits are non-refundable to client’s cancelling with less than 3 days notice. Arriving late to an appointment, or re-scheduling less than 48 hours prior to appointment, will also result in loss of deposit. Deposits go towards covering artists’ time spent preparing for your tattoo and to loss of earnings if they are unable to rebook an appointment.
